SCD-01E Capacitor Discharge Thermocouple Welder
The SCD-01E Capacitor Discharge Thermocouple Welder is suitable for welding thermocouple wires of different materials to steel or alloy steel plates. The thermocouple wire is held in nose pliers and kept in contact with the plate, while another terminal is connected to the plate by an earth magnet.
A weld switch, also called a footswitch, is used to weld the wire to the plate. Different weld-current values can be obtained by charging the capacitors to different voltages.
